Alan Chen, MD, MS, is a double-board-certified physician in pain management and physical medicine & rehabilitation.
Dr. Chen graduated with a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering in 1996 from Tufts University in Middlesex County, Massachusetts. In 1998, he received his master’s degree in physiology from Chicago Medical School Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, Illinois. Two years later, he completed his doctoral degree.
Dr. Chen completed his residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at New York Medical College, St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Manhattan, New York, where he finished as Chief Resident. Afterward, he specialized further in interventional pain management at UCLA with fellowship training. He is also an accredited medical acupuncturist.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Chen enjoys fishing, camping, golf, painting, and spending time with his wife and two sons.
