Dr. McNeil completed medical school, at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA after which completed a one-year internship at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Oregon. He completed anesthesia residency and fellowship in pain medicine through the University of Florida. He is board certified in Pain Medicine and Anesthesia.
After training, he worked for two years at Peninsula Pain Clinic and then returned to work for the University of Florida as an assistant professor. Although he enjoys academic medicine and teaching fellows/residents he and his wife deeply missed the Northwest and the patients/team at Peninsula Pain Clinic.
Dr. McNeil’s clinical focus is on multi modal, multidisciplinary, comprehensive pain management that is individually tailored to each specific patient’s need. He views the human body holistically and feels that each patient’s treatment should be built to optimize their care specifically. He has contributed to several publications, including research pertaining to pain management. He has presented at over a dozen
conferences sharing and teaching his experience, knowledge, and approach to pain
