Marisa began her nursing career in 2018 after earning her Associate of Science in Nursing from Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She later went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. While completing her education, Marisa worked as a medical-surgical nurse, gaining valuable clinical experience.

When she is not working, she enjoys hiking, playing tennis, and reading history.
