In the Spring semester of 2021, Nick completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at George Fox University. After graduation, Nick dedicated his time to improving his skills as an outpatient and home health physical therapist. In November 2023, Nick joined Black Stone Physical Medicine, where he continues to contribute his expertise in physical therapy.
His dedication to physical therapy stemmed from his personal experience. When Nick was a college student at Oregon State University, he suffered a significant back injury while participating in the gymnastics club. The injury, known as spondylolisthesis, required him to undergo 12 weeks of physical therapy. The guidance and support of his physical therapist played a crucial role in helping him recover and regain his everyday life. This experience deeply impacted Nick, who has always been an active individual. Inspired by his recovery, he is driven to assist others in returning to their beloved activities when they need it most.
