Stephen Wheeler, PA-C

Stephen Wheeler, PA-C, joined Puget Sound Pain Clinic in 2024, with locations in Bonney Lake and Covington, Washington. He has worked as a PA-C in Interventional Pain Medicine since 2019. He graduated locally from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, in 2019, where he attended their School of Medicine Physician Assistant program. Prior to becoming a PA-C, he worked as an emergency medical technician (EMT) locally in Tacoma, Washington.

At the practice, Stephen works closely with the rest of the team, providing compassionate, evidence-based care. He keeps up to date with all modern and developing treatment options and has a passion for optimizing care plans to increase function and quality of life.

Stephen was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and is a member of the Cowlitz Indian Tribe. When not in the clinic, he enjoys time with his family. Stephen and his wife, Shauna, have one daughter and two dogs. His family enjoys outdoor activities, movies, game nights, and travel.
